Bits about books

Hosted BySubhanjan Sarkar

Authors talk about their books on Sales, Marketing, SAAS and Startups. What motivated them, why they chose this subject. And what we can take away from the book. Hopefully, a glimmer of wisdom that we can put to use.

  • The “Go For No” strategy helps you to reprogram the way you think and feel about being refused, or told no. It empowers you to develop the courage to ask and be refused. This helps you to achieve outrageous sales and personal success.
  • At its simplest, the strategy requires you to set a target of how many refusals you must come up with in a day. So, you can start asking for what you want, and hear at least say, five refusals or “No”s. That fills your quota for the day. But in the process, you get around to asking more people— indeed, having the courage to ask.
  • Most people stop far short of asking as many people as possible in the fear of rejection, and this is how we short sell ourselves. “Go For No” helps you to overcome this barrier and achieve far higher success by accepting refusal as a part of the process.

These and more insights from the ground in this great episode of Bits About Books.
